Travel Family Portraiture - Kauai Trip January 2020
I still can’t really believe that we had this trip last January! I am so grateful for it, considering that Liam will Graduate in 2022, it’s hard to know if we will have another trip like this with the 6 of us!
Taking photos on family trips is a hard balance, I am happy to have these snapshots in time to remember our trips, but I don’t like to take so many that I am not present and in the moment enjoying and making memories with them!
Family Portraiture - Kauai 2020
Going back to the first family session I did in 2020, it was actually just a random family that approached me on the beach to ask if I could take a picture of them with their phone. I said sure but asked if I could take a few with my good camera too! Honestly I was sitting there just in awe of the beautiful light wishing I could photograph someone and along they came.
I look forward to traveling back to Kauai again someday and would LOVE more opportunities to photograph families or couples when I am there! That would be such a dream for me.
